From Streamwood, IL, Kim is a young multi-disciplinary professional in the entertainment industry working in lighting for live music productions and sound design for visual media.

Just before obtaining her B.A. at Columbia College Chicago, she landed a steady freelance opportunity for Rocket Sound Game Studio. Her skillset led her to working on notable projects such as Silent Hill f, Octopath Traveler 2, and more. Soon after, she began to also freelance for Periscope Post & Audio on her first feature films. Aside from Kim's creativity expressed through sound, her competence later brought her career to also venture in live music.

With her newly founded passion for lighting design, Kim has promptly grown in Chicago's live music scene. She swiftly became the lead LD at Chop Shop and continues to work at Lincoln Hall and Garcia's Chicago. She has additionally worked at The Vic Theatre, and Schubas Tavern. As a house LD, she has had the exciting opportunity to busk for Doechii, Perfume Genius, Chelsea Cutler and many more!
 
Kim's reliability and enthusiasm has led her to quickly grow in her creative career. She hopes to land touring gigs allowing her to become a traveling LD as well as collaborate on upcoming feature films and video games subsequent to the 2023/2024 Hollywood strikes.
